The code only works on an order containing full priced items. I tested it on a shirt worth £55. The code reduced this to £27.50. However, there is a 75% sale on at the moment. If you want to include something from the sale section, you can mix it with a full price item, and get 40% off the full price item using the discount code AW40.
Although the site is focused on the gents, it does have a ladieswear department. It is very limited, with just a few suits and formal office wear style blouses available. I have to say though that I did really like those blouses!
