The price of £57 per person is based on the lowest price room and a family of four sharing, and that is in a resort hotel, not a nearby 'partner hotel' but staying on the site itself.
When you book a night at an Alton Towers Resort Hotel you get two days in the park (one day paid for and the second day free), plus breakfast on the hotel, and early access to the park an hour before it's open to general visitors.
