There's this really lovely height chart available at Mothercare at the moment, reduced from a not too preposterous £5 to a very good £2.
We have a gorgeous woodland growth chart up in our conservatory and every day this summer my daughter stood next to it after dinner to see whether she'd topped the one meter mark yet. Why? Because that's how tall you have to be to go in the castle at LegoLand! It's been a great tool for getting her to eat all her dinner, that's for sure!
This is such a pretty chart, in girly colours, and a soft and gentle theme. It starts at 10cm and goes to 150cm so should keep track of your little one for a good while, and certainly as long as growth charts are exciting.
