This book features the very cool Soren Lorenson and you can see him as a faint, etched shadow on the pages. We didn’t notice him at first, but it’s pretty cool for kids when they do. In this book Lola is getting ready to go to school for the first time and it covers all those things that scare kids when it is their first time.
Funny and sweet, this Charlie and Lola book will enchant you and your kids and is a great way to encourage reading in the home. I really do recommend this title, we still read it even though my daughter is nearly eight.
