Elsa Fancy Dress From £12.50 @ Asda George

12 June 2014

All sizes 2-3, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 and are available to order. The smaller sizes are £12.50, while age 7-8 is £13.50.

I'm not sure there's much (anything!) that hasn't been said about the film Frozen. It's taken the world by storm since it hit UK cinemas in December but that has only increased since the release of the DVD this Spring. Suddenly merchandise went from being pretty plentiful to being almost non existent, selling out in minutes online-especially for Queen Elsa. (We prefer Anna in this house though I have to be honest) Elsa dresses and dolls have become like gold dust, commanding huge prices on sites like eBay and with myself and many other parents I know refusing to pay these prices, you have to be quick to grab them when they come into stock online.

This dress comes complete with the Elsa clip in faux hair piece (you can see it in the bottom right of the image above), is decorated with glitter and has an image of Elsa herself on the front.

The Disney Store has fabulous items, but with an Elsa dress from there costing over £40, can the supermarkets really compete on authenticity and quality? Reviewers certainly seem to think so, with one remarking:-

My daughter loves frozen!! So this was a must have, we had seen the expensive
version of his dress in that shop ;) and fell in love but this was a third of
the cost and just as delightful. You can't appreciate this dress without seeing
it in the flesh it's stunning with lilac chiffon sleeves and beautiful ice
effect turquoise dress it twinkles and it has lovely jewelled embellishment it's
full length so really princessy and at asda price we were able to purchase the
Anna dress as well :) it's all good added bonus you get a small hair piece as
well to clip on just like elsa in the movie.

Free store collection or home delivery available but that will cost you an additional £2.95.
