My son has this toy and I would really recommend it. It's suitable for children aged two and over, and it's enormous fun. Children control Thomas by just a wave of their hand or the yellow paddle, so they can make him move forwards, backwards and turn. He makes fun sounds, talks and can play games as well like 'Thomas Says', or rev up for a race. He will also recognise obstacles and stop for them.
I think this is fantastic value for this toy, as it gives hours and hours of fun. It's nice and easy to control for younger children who might find the coordination required for a traditional remote control a little tricky.
