Cooler bags - they just scream summer, and summer IS here (for a couple of days a week anyway).
My family is quite big and for years we all used to get together for the last Bank Holiday in August for the epics that were the 'Annual Family Bank Holiday Outing'.
I loved it as a kid - the day would start early watching my mum pack the most enormous picnic that required three cooler bags. Then we'd drive to a country pub somewhere and meet up with my nan and grandad and all the aunts, uncles and cousins.
After coke in glass bottles with a straw and bags of crisps it was off to the beach for proper sand-in-your-sandwiches sandwiches and messing around in the sea. Then drive off, in convoy, to a country park for more picnic stuff and girls versus boys games of rounders.
Then a pub in the evening that had a play place for us kids whilst the grown ups had a beer or two in the bar or the garden.
Ahhh, they were awesome times and would have been utterly impossible without the good old cooler bags!
