I was born in Brighton and lived there for a little while; I remember when a HUGE roller skate shop opened to much hurrah, the queues to get in on the opening day were MILES long!
I got a pair of blue and yellow suede skates with rainbows on the side, they had a yellow stopper on the front and they were my pride and joy when I was six years old.
