Personally I'm in a baking frame of mind so I'd be looking to get some of the Last Chance*bargains like the Mug Cakes*book, or a Mary Berry* one. I think even I can manage a mug cake seeing as they just take 5 minutes in the microwave, and I love looking at Mary Berry books, even if mine don't turn out anything like her pictures.
