I can't be the only person on the planet who has multiple birthday presents to buy for birthdays in January and February - I have to say the January (now starting in November) sales are rather handy for this but you have to make sure you get in quick before everything goes out of stock.
I've learned this the hard way and tend to keep my eyes open for deals like this 'buy two Tomy toys, get the third free' at Toys R Us.
I'm not generally a fan of plastic toys that require batteries - I'm much more of a classical wooden toy girl - but you really won't go far wrong with Tomy toys if you want something bright, fun and (generally) educational all wrapped up in one toy.
You don't have to jump through any hoops to take advantage of this 'buy two Tomy toys, get the third free' offer, there aren't any codes to remember to apply to your basket, you just need to add three and Toys R Us will sort everything out for you.
The good news is, if you've left your Christmas present shopping to the very, VERY last minute then as long as you're prepared to battle traffic and crowds then you can pop along to your local Toys R Us store and collect your Tomy toys tomorrow - rather you than me, I'm all sorted now *smug!*
