Sometimes you need a slightly smaller, less all-singing-all-dancing activity mat for when you're out visiting friends, or just out and about in general - babies love being able to lay flat on the floor and with a Beanstalk travel activity mat they can, and you don't have to worry about the state of the carpet (or whatever) that you're putting them down on.
