Is a crock pot really all that?
I often hear mothers rave on about crock pots but I don't get it. Isn't it just stew every night?
By which you mean a slow cooker? I don't use one but I know people who do and who swear by them. The best idea is to look through recipe books. One friend uses her's solely for soups. I've a relative who makes all sorts of pot roasts in hers, and also jam.
