PlayPennies Loves...Bringing Up Charlie

2 January 2011

bringingUpCharlie There aren't enough Daddy bloggers - so we're kicking off the first PlayPennies Loves of 2011 with a daddy blogger who has a lot to say; hurrah!

Reading the little bit of profile spiel about Tim Atkinson was enough to catch my attention and make me stay...

"I'm a stay-at-home dad and part-time psychology teacher. But don't hold that against me. I'm entirely responsible for this drivel; nobody writes this stuff but me.

I write what I want, I edit if I can be bothered and I publish without anyone's permission but my own. And like many mummy/daddy bloggers lately, I'm sometimes sent stuff to review or asked to mention something on my blog. If I want to, I will. If I don't, I won't. But if I do you can be sure I'll say exactly what I think. Enjoy!"

I studied Psych' more than a few years ago and anyone who labels their own writing as drivel is okay in my book, and warrants a little more investigation too.

How many times have you wished you had a crystal ball so you could see what the new year has in store for you? Lots, I'm sure - well read this post and you'll know exactly what's heading our way.

I laughed, not only at the far-fetchedness of Brucey being knighted, but that we'd actually have a summer worth talking about in 2011 - now that really IS pie in the sky stuff!

Tim also became a father again on 30 December - many congratulations to the Bringing Up Charlie family!

I also enjoyed reading this post - Do as you would be done by - I wonder when my non-lazy, strong work ethic attitude and practice will rub off on my lazy, non-work ethic, get-away-with-doing-as-little-as-possible teenagers...?

There's lots to read and plenty that will make you ponder at Bringing Up Charlie so dive in and, as Tim says in his profile blurb, ENJOY!
