So, got your sleeping bag and your flask of tea all ready for the Next sale?
Most stores will be opening their doors at the super-crazy early time of 5am when the Next summer sale kicks off on Saturday 19th July, and we're hearing from some very reliable sources that this year's summer sale is going to be particularly epic.
Aside from all the usual bargains around baby clothes and childrenswear, it should be a particularly good sale if you're looking to snap up items of household furniture for a song.
It seems there's a lot more stock going in the sale than usual this year, and of course there's also the online sale to be checked out if you can't face getting up at the crack of down to fight with all those other bargain-hungry shoppers!
If you live near an airport then rumour has it that those stores will be opening for Sale customers at 4am on Friday instead of Saturday.
Do note that changing rooms are usually closed during the sale, so don't waste time wondering about trying stuff on - just hope for the best and remember that Next has a pretty decent returns policy
Somehow I managed to wangle a VIP slot at the online preview of the Sale, and I can confirm that it's a goodie this year. I managed to restock my underwear drawer entirely for less than £40, and I managed to kit the kids out in some new clothes without breaking the bank.
Happy shopping, Next fans, and may the Playpennies force be with you!
