John Lewis have just added their Christmas stock to their website and there are some brilliant buys for this Christmas. We love the idea of these 24 Christmas Flittered Advent Boxes, a great alternative to the normal advent calendars on the high street. They are selling for a very reasonable £10 for 24 boxes.
These paper boxes are designed to be filled with all your children's favourite treats to make the wait for Christmas Day a little easier. I love the fact these seem to be bigger than the normal wooden or felt advent calendars so you can fit more in, perfect if you have more than 1 child. You could even make your own 'Lego' calendar by putting a mini figure in each one, or party bag type toys. You can never go wrong with a few balloons or bubbles for younger children, plus the obligatory sweetie or chocolate!
The boxes can be reused year after year if looked after and also come with a little tie for the top so they can be hung from the Christmas tree. I love the modern design of these boxes, they are pretty neutral so should fit in with most Christmas colour themes.
Standard home delivery is £3.50, you can choose to Click and Collect to your local Waitrose or J.L store, new charges mean that you will pay £2 if your order is under £30, anything over £30 is free.
