The mystery mother of Christiano Ronaldo's son is reported to be bitterly regretting her decision to hand over the baby in return for £10 million.
Last year, the world was gobsmacked when Ronaldo revealed he'd become a father, said he would never tell who the mother was, that he had exclusive 'guardianship rights' of the child who would be raised by his mother and sister.
Apparently the mother is a 20-year-old British student who had a one-night-stand with Ronaldo and contacted him through his agent when she discovered she was pregnant.
A multi-million pound deal, that has a clause forbidding her from talking about the situation with anyone, was struck and she handed the baby over.
However, it would know seem that she deeply regrets that decision and is regularly phoning Ronaldo begging to be allowed to see her son and offering to give the money back.
One of those handy newspaper sources has told the Sunday Mirror...
"She's often calling him late at night. She cried down the phone to him and pleads with him, he shouldn't even be in contact with her but they have got into a twisted sort of routine.
She even calls him after matches to congratulate him on how he played, hoping that one day she can appeal to his better nature. She feels like she has sold her soul. She has this millionaire lifestyle but can never tell her friends and family the truth about what has happened and that makes her feel incredibly lonely."
Perhaps she should have thought of all that before she leapt into bed with Ronaldo, had unprotected sex and then chose cash over her own flesh and blood!
