The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix Infant Carrier is one of the most popular infant car seats on the market. Why? It fits on a fair few pushchair chassis (with the adaptors) to create a travel system. It is also rated highly for safety. I paid about £135 for mine and that was a few years back. They don't tend to drop in price much to be honest so when we saw that both John Lewis and Amazon are selling them in Black Raven for just £99.99 we just had to share.

The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix is lightweight which is a bonus for when you do have a small distance to carry baby in it. It's a rear facing car seat and is suitable from birth to twelve months old (or 13kg). It is adequately padded to provide a comfortable ride for even the small babies.
This car seat rates high for safety when teamed with the Easy-Fix Car Seat Base*. It can be fitted using the three point standard seatbelt in the car. The safeness of any car seat is dependent on the correct fitting of it. For help with this, your local police should have someone that can advise on car safety. My local station runs car safety workshops. Always check the suitability of the car seat with your child.
