I'm always a little skeptical about some of the list prices that The Book People quote but, thinking about this properly, there are 48 books that come presented in a hard case AND a parents handbook too. If you divide £243 by 49, it works out at £4.95 a book which is pretty realistic.
I much prefer dividing £25 by 49 and coming up with a price of 51 pence per book!
The books are graded from Level 1 - which prepares your child for the learning to read adventure that lies ahead of them - right through to Level 6 where they'll be reading confidently on their own.
