"We're going on a bear hunt, we're going to catch a BIG one!" OHHHH I LOVE THIS BOOK! Ok, I love ALL books but this one definitely falls into the 'most favourite' category!
The words of this story are almost as familiar to me as my own name - from having it read to me as a chid ("Wow mum, can you remember that far back?" "Yes, and YES we had electricity in those days!"), to marching through woods singing it when I was in the Brownies (ok, stop laughing) and then reading it to my own children - all of them have loved it and the numerous copies we possess are well-worn.
Follow the family over 40 glorious pages full of adventure and excitement as they go on a bear hunt through long grass, across rivers and through mud to find a surprise waiting for them in a cave in the dark forest! No spoiler alerts necessary here - if you want to find out what happens you'll have to read it for yourself.
