The Woodland Trust has prepared a bunch of free Diamond Jubilee activity packs for parents to download and for kids to enjoy. You can choose from a wide range of activities that can be done either indoors or out.
The Diamond Jubilee party kit includes printable invitations, a guide to the best woods to hold your picnic to celebrate the event, and plenty more. You’ll find free decorations such as bunting, pinwheel flags, paper chains and confetti.
There are also free games such as crown jewels colour bingo, the red, white and blue hunt and flower crowns. You can also enjoy treasure hunts and create treasure hunting bags, and even create a fairytale woodland stage.
The free Diamond Jubilee packs also include picnic recipes like strawberry and elderflower recipes and caterpillar tortilla rolls, as well as honey cakes and jam tarts. Other extras include royal plates, leaf doilies and name badges.
