Five Back To School Buys We Love

Is your brain slowly cranking itself up for Back to School season yet, or are you firmly in the 'No, summer has barely even started yet!' camp?

It's a bit of both in my house as I've got two kiddos heading off to new schools so I'm mindful of the need to get some serious organising together but I also hate 'wasting' the summer by thinking about going back to school too early.

Still, in case - like me - you're squirrelling away the odd purchase here and there to help make Back to School season go smoothly, here are a few ideas we've been sent about good buys that you might like...

We love these lunchbags from Tum Tum Tots- I especially like this cute
Bee lunchbag and at £12 they're definitely not cheap but they should be built to last.

If you've got a nursery starter, check out the Skip Hop Zoo Unicorn* - it's the perfect size for little ones aged 3+. Lots of characters are available including an Owl, Monkey, Butterfly and Dinosaur. Features include mesh water bottle holders, adjustable straps, name tags and zip pullers plus 3D features including silver unicorn horns, dino teeth and owl wings.

Over one million children in the UK ride scooters and if that's part of your preferred transport method for the school run then check out Scootaheadz (£14.99). These all-weather friends ride on the T-bar of scooters, personalising them and making them a whole lot cooler than your average scooter. So much easier to find your child's scooter among a sea of other scooters at the school gates!

Talking of the school run - make yours a breeze with the original BuggyBoard® from Lascal (£65) from www.cheekyrascals.co.uk. It's easy to underestimate how tired little ones can be after a day at school and they might not be up to the walk home!

Add finally, add a little excitement to the school uniform with a gorgeous and durable Puddle Buster coat from www.welovefrugi.com (£36). Made from 100% recycled polyester with PU coating with a fleece lined body and hood, it's great for keeping dry on the school run. Three designs are available including umbrellas, sharks and ducks. Matching trousers and wellington boots are available, too.
