Playpennies

I threw one for my best friend 12 years ago, when no-one did them. Was such a lot of fun and the comments we got from the older ladies there was really positive. They all thought that they felt like they too were getting something - instead of just handing over a present, they got a party and to have some fun. Also, as we had family, friends, and workmates there, my best mate felt like all the different parts of her life got to meet each other. We did it at my place in the afternoon, and just played games, drank a bit of sparkly stuff, ate nibbles and cakes, and had a laugh.
