Do you know who makes those little Love Hearts sweets? Just in case you don't know what I mean, those are the little round sweets with messages on them, like True Love and Be Mine. They're made by a company called Swizzels Matlow. Now that's a pretty cool name, to me anyway. They also make Parma Violets, Drumsticks and Refreshers. Yum, yum and double yum. But Love Hearts are my favourite - so full of fruity, fizzy, chalky, sugary goodness.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I think it is totally unfair they've stuck it in the middle of half term mind you. If you've got kids it is harder to get romantic in the evening when you've spent the day looking at dinosaurs and queueing in the Natural History Museum. Mind you, when you've got kids it is harder to get romantic full stop.

Perhaps I shouldn't have called this feature all you really need for baby bathtime. Because the truth is you don't need anything other than somewhere clean to pop them - and the basin in your bathroom or the sink in the kitchen will do. Until they're on solids, you really don't need to use anything other than water to clean babies.

However, in the real world, we all kind of like to have a little bit more. A proper bath so you don't have to clear out the crocker first is quite nice. Again, you could use a bathtub. When my son was a couple of months old and I was visiting relatives, I just stuck a towel on the bottom of the bath, put in a little bit of water, and then supported him with one hand while I cleaned with the other.

That said, you really don't want to be doing that in the long term. It is a killer on your back. And while it was nice to have a bath with baby, it wasn't always terribly convenient to have to strip and hop in the bath myself.

It is juvenile of me I know, but my new year's resolution is to just be at peace with being completely and utterly silly. At least once in a while. And you know what caught my eye about this bus? The reason why I had HAD to write about it (apart from being a phenomenal bargain of course)? It is the bathroom-sized toilet sat prominently in the middle of the bus.

Once you've got kids, things like Valentine's Day don't have quite the same sort of romantic resonance they used to. You, your partner, plus 2.4 kids and a dog don't quite make for the same luxurious love-fest you might once have enjoyed.

I don't know why but I find myself musing on the name of this set. Presumably Chad Valley is a US company - the name certainly sounds American. So I can understand why they might call it a soccer ball on that basis. But, there's also a Rugby ball in there. Now if they were doing the American naming thing wouldn't they have called it a Football, or maybe an American Football? As they use pretty much the same sort of ball for the game they play - which we also know as Gridiron.

So if they're going to call that a rugby ball why not call the soccer ball a football? No one is going to get confused over that in this country. And interestingly, I'm looking on the packaging on the site and it doesn't seem to have any name on it. So Argos could have called this Football, Basketball and Rugby Ball Soft Set? Or am I over thinking this? Possibly this is all too much for so early on a Sunday morning. My brain hurts.
