PlayPennies is an addictive concoction that's made up with four parts mummy, one part yummy and one secret ingredient. Once mixed and baked at a comfortable nine months, it's hard to put down. Here's a bit about the team:

Tamsin Oxford

Tamsin Oxford is a professional freelance writer and Mum-In-Training for one adorable little girl.

She spends a lot of time hunting down deals and bargains because she wants the best life can get for her daughter, without having to spend much money. PlayPennies is where she has more fun than anywhere else on the web.

Sarah Macdonald

Sarah lives in a crazy household consisting of three children - two teenagers and a toddler (she's not sure what she was thinking combining those age stages together) - and two mad dogs!

When she's not writing, she'll either be out and about with her photographer's hat on searching for that elusive shot of a lifetime, or shackled to her desk with a web and graphic designer hat on! When she's not working, you're most likely to find her in the gym or out running with the dogs and watching rugby (actually, shouting at the rugby is more of an accurate description) or anything motorsport... all, of course, whilst keeping an eye out for hot deals!

Lynley Oram

Lynley has two obsessions in her life, writing and her family. She's a mother to three - one five year old and two grown up step children. So she has already run the spectrum of parenting life from toddlers to teenagers, and now she's about to do it all again! Being a freelance journalist means she has time to be more involved in school life, and somehow she has ended up as chair of the PTA.

As well as writing about parenting issues, Lynley is also very passionate about technology and the environment. She often gets to combine the two by writing about 'green' IT.

Luschka Van Onselen

Luschka is a mum-of-one to a little girl who keeps her incredibly busy. In between and generally at nap times, she is a freelance journalist and blogger on diaryofafirstchild.

Luschka is passionate about doing things the way nature intended. She is very eco-conscious, but makes up for all the good she does by travelling a lot. At the time of writing, she has already taken her 12 month old to 11 different countries, spending the bulk of those trips in tents.

A little bit of a nerd, Luschka spends a lot of time online, reading, researching and writing about parenting and child raising, sort of learning as she goes. For fun she messes around with her camera, takes her daughter to see animals where ever she can and cooks and crafts up a storm.
